Quo Primum - Papal Encyclicals

“Our Apostolic authority, We grant and concede in perpetuity that, for the chanting or reading of the Mass in any church whatsoever, this Missal is hereafter to be followed absolutely, without any scruple of conscience or fear of incurring any penalty, judgment, or censure, and may freely and lawfully be used. Nor are superiors, administrators, canons, chaplains, and other secular priests, or religious, of whatever title designated, obliged to celebrate the Mass otherwise than as enjoined by Us. We likewise declare and ordain that no one whosoever is forced or coerced to alter this Missal, and that this present document cannot be revoked or modified, but remain always valid and retain its full force notwithstanding the previous constitutions and decrees of the Holy See, as well as any general or special constitutions or edicts of provincial or synodal councils, and notwithstanding the practice and custom of the aforesaid churches, established by long and immemorial prescription – except, however, if more than two hundred years’ standing.“

He has to apply for a license because he deems it "the Old Mass".

If he realized that it is just the Mass, the always up-to-date Catholic Mass of All Ages, the Mass of the ancient Roman Rite - that neither pope nor any bishop is able to abolish i.e. if he chose to stand in the truth then...
he would need no license.

I think that if they Vatican believed they could get away with it, they would declare the Catholic faith not to be the true faith. Apostates

So right on! Haven't they really, the way they are acting?

The Catholic Church religion did not start with VII, therefore Pope Pius V who codified the TLM means that any validly ordained Roman Catholic priest can offer it, without permission. This decree supercedes the approval of a bishop.

@Scapular - The old mass as you refer to it is the ordinary form, not the Novus Ordo as Benedict incorrectly decribes it. It is Extraordinary, not because of its use of Latin and rubrics but, because it is Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic in origin.

NO Pope has the AUTHORITY to change Sacred Tradition or the sacraments. In addition, the pope is ONLY infallible under three conditions (as dogmatically declared by Vatican I): 1. NO Pope has the AUTHORITY to change Sacred Tradition or the sacraments. In addition, the pope is ONLY infallible under three conditions (as dogmatically declared by Vatican I): 1. Pertaining to morals and faith; 2. As an obligation on all the faithful; and 3. Officially as pope. Francis has NEVER done anything officially as pope, he repudiates the office of pope and calls himself the bishop of Rome. He even signs his encyclicals as merely "Francis". If Catholics actually knew the faith, they would not be fooled.

"Francis" is not the pope. Never has been and never will be.
Also, he is anti-Catholic.
