I’m sure that you are not trying to justify contraception, but this comment could be construed as such. Abortifacients are bad by reason of their object, “intrinsically evil,” so to speak. Contraception, at least theoretically, can be used to prevent conception in a case of rape, if there is certainty that the victim hasn’t ovulated, but there is no other case when it is not a horrible sin. Contraception, at least theoretically, can be used to prevent conception in a case of rape, if there is certainty that the victim hasn’t ovulated, but there is no other case when it is not a horrible sin. One breaks the 5th Commandment, the other the 6th, but both are bad.

No single short comment could say all things which could be said on a topic and closely related topics so comprehensively that no one could possibly twist the language to mean something else.) Also, abortifacients should NOT be used for the purpose of preventing pregnancy at any time (even though there are legitimate therapeutic reasons to use those drugs if a woman is NOT having sexual relations with anyone).
