G.K.Chesterton
The essence of all pantheism, evolutionism, and modern cosmic religion is really in this proposition: that Nature is our mother. Unfortunately, if you regard Nature as a mother, you discover that she is a step-mother.

Would be interesting if the "Holy Father" takes an image of Pachamama with him to bed as a doll to have some company against loneliness. Everybody needs a darling.... 😉 😉 😉 (Satire - with a wink 😉 😉) The "Holy Father" also makes fun of others, he ridicules especially tradiitional Catholics.

By the way - why does the cartoonist portray Francis as Louis XIV? Louis XIV was extremely Catholic - and (like Constantine) spent years entering the neighbouring Lutheran Countries on a quest to conquer them and forcibly return them back to Roman Catholicism.

By the way - why does the cartoonist portray Francis as Louis XIV? Louis XIV was extremely Catholic - and (like Constantine) spent years entering the neighbouring Lutheran Countries on a quest to conquer them and forcibly return them back to Roman Catholicism.

He also reached out his hand to the exiled Stuarts and until the year after his death they were housed in the Palace where Louis was born.

So basically - Louis XIV was a King like King David - an absolute Monarch who forced his country to stay faithful to the Church. Therefore he was nothing like Francis. The only people who call him a bad King are those who think that the Roman Catholic Church has no right to become the State Religion. Those who prefer that Nations should allow freedom of worship. Louis XIV insisted that his dominions should share the true religion of it's Sovereign.

Interestingly, later on, Louis XVI, did the same thing that Francis does, he gave in to the pressure of his Protestant neighbours and in around 1785 (like King Solomon had done) Louis XVI betrayed Our Lord & granted freedom of religion in his land. The wrong thing to do as it gave more power to his enemies and the enemies of Christ's Church.

So, as I said, I don't think Francis is anything like Louis XIV. It would be better for us if he was.

He portrays Francis as a tyrant king - meaning "The Church - that's me"

King Louis XIV was the Sacred Heart King - who received instruction from Christ via St Marguerite Mary to make amends for the fall of the formerly Catholic Monarchies to Protestantism the most well known of these are The UK Monarchy after the enforced exile of the Stuarts and the German Royal Family who are known to have helped Luther.

Christ clearly instructed King Louis XIV via St Marguerite Marie to battle against the Roman Catholic Church's enemies

""Let the eldest son of my sacred Heart know that, as his temporal birth was obtained by devotion to the merits of my holy Childhood, so he will obtain his birth of grace and eternal glory by the consecration that he will make of himself to my adorable Heart, which wants to triumph over his, and through him over that of the great of the earth. He wants to reign in his palace, to be painted in his banners and engraved in his arms, to make them victorious over all his enemies, by bringing down at his feet those proud and superb heads, to make him triumphant over all the enemies of the Holy Church . "

He strove to accomplish that by trying to recover the throne for the exiled Catholic Stuarts, and also to see if he could re-convert all neighbouring Nations once again to Catholicism.

Christ gave him authority to force Our Lord's enemies to return to Rome and asked him (as Christ did CONSTANTINE) to go out and win battles and to convert Nations to submit to the Governance of HIMSELF through His One True Church -

This is ALL King Louis XIV did - he battled a great deal AND with great success to restore all to Catholicism both in his Nation and those surrounding him.

Our Lord requested the Consecration of King Louis XIV to His Divine Heart and his entire Court .

By the way - he was not a Tyrant - he knelt down and humbled himself before Christ..

From an early biography about St Jean Eudes

"He once said Mass at Versailles, before Louis XIV. ; the King knelt devoutly, but those about him stood. When he came to the offertory, the holy apostle thought it well to congratulate his Majesty on the respect which he showed to the King of Kings, before Whom all earthly Sovereigns are but dust, and added : " But, Sire, I am astonished to see that while you are performing your religious duties so perfectly, and worshipping God with so much humility, those around you are behaving in a very different manner." The courtiers were thunder struck, every one became reverent, especially when the King began to turn round to see who were standing.

King Louis XIV was an admirer of St Jean Eudes and supplied him with 14,000 pounds to build a Chapel dedicated to the Sacred Heart (as Our Lord had requested of him via St Marguerite Marie.) ALSO, in fulfillment of these pious instructions. St Jean Eudes fulfilled the request that a liturgy in honour of the Sacred Heart be instigated....

"Saint John Eudes (1601-1680), founder of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary in 1643 (the eudists), was the first to to give liturgical worship to the Sacred Heart (1672). He brought the devotion to the Sacred Heart into the palace and the family of Louis XIV by preaching at the court from 1671 to 1674. In 1674 Saint John Eudes received 14,000 pounds from the King for the construction in Caen of the first church erected to the Sacred Heart, and the solemn feast of the Sacred Heart was celebrated in Montmartre on October 20. Seven other churches were then authorized by the Pope to open and dedicate themselves to the cult of the Sacred Heart."

:D 90s vintage Aeon Flux dressed in fetish gear. I wouldn't fancy her as acceptable for a Catholic media portal, either. Notice, links are NOT being provided to relevant examples. Anybody who wants an occasion of sin can go look the character up themselves. ;-) Don't even bother looking, Be Ye Separate. Flux is a woman and an adult (not a child) so you there's nothing of interest for you.
