Leo XIV will live in the Apostolic Palace

Leo XIV will live in the Apostolic Palace, maintaining the normal papal residence, reports Italian television RAI.

Due to the usual renovations of the Apostolic Palace, he will begin his pontificate temporarily in the Holy Office (Sant'Uffizio), his private apartment, where he spent his first night as Pope.

This is a departure from Pope Francis, who occupied an entire floor of the hotel Domus Sanctae Marthae for the duration of his pontificate.

On Sunday, Leo XIV will pray the Regina Coeli from the central loggia of St. Peter's Basilica.
