American heroes? Let's just take two of America’s finest and best - the fire crews of NYFD (Twin Towers Attack) and the naval crew of the USS Liberty (Israeli Forces Attack). The photo depicting the raw courage of Mike Kehoe (NYFD, Engine 28, Fireman 12898) going up the stairs of the World Trade Centre summed up the selfless bravery of the NYFD fire-fighters. Likewise, I hope one day that the heroism of the surviving members of the crew of the USS Liberty will be widely recognised by the citizens of the USA. The USS Liberty was attacked in 1967 by Israeli Air Force fighter jets and then by Israeli Navy torpedo boats in international waters. The USS Liberty was flying the American flag and its large white identification letters (GTR-5 / General Technical Research) could clearly be seen from air and sea. The Israeli attack commenced at 1400 hrs and ceased at 1600 hrs - killing 34 US crew members. Despite the captain of the USS Liberty being badly wounded, he remained in command on the ship’s bridge. I salute the outstanding courage and seamanship of Captain William L McGonagle and his crew members, whose heroic efforts kept the USS Liberty afloat, thus preventing a far greater loss of life. Changing tack, in these times of darkness & deception, daily reading of the Gospels and fasting are a must for every Christian if they are to rightly discern truth from falsehood. I fast every Tuesday on “bread & water” for the healing of a 4-year old Palestinian girl who was shot and whose two little sisters were shot dead by the same Israeli Defence Force soldier at close range during “Operation Cast Lead”. This religious Jew (a uniform with shylocks) is unworthy of being called a soldier, for no soldier would kill defenceless little children in front of their father and mother. Little Samar is now a paraplegic. Belgium medical doctors give little hope of her ever walking again. If information is supplied about the retirement age of working people in the European Union, an accurate presentation should be given. Greece has a normal retirement age of 65 (Germany, 67). As is in most western countries, early retirement can occur if a person has served in the police or armed forces. Greece does have an early retirement age of 57 for persons working in hazardous occupations due to consequent shorter life expectancy. As for Socialism not working, you should tell that to former President George W Bush and current US President Barrack H Obama who have used billions to bail out the bankers. My post on this thread very clearly dealt with the European Union and its uselessness. This same reality was pointed out by Nigel Farage who lambasted the EU in this video. The video was not about the Vatican nor was it about the U.S. Military nor about United States defense appropriations. Perhaps you have not yet learned a very basic, common sense principle of gloria.tv. Posts are made with reference to the uploaded video and not one's personal preferences and prejudices.

However, since you obviously need to be reminded AGAIN, if it were not for the American armed forces you'd be speaking German today and dining on schnitzel. What you fail to understand is that ours is a world governed by the aggressive use of force and God Bless the United States Military for protecting and keeping my country and her allies free. Specifically, you should bless the Creator for sending American heroes (approximately 100 thousands of whom made the ultimate sacrifice) to your country to save your ancestors and the European continent from the barbarism known as Nazism. I have no idea what the current EU politics are but they’ve created a new Supreme Soviet; a government without a country. What is the advantage of belonging to the EU? That citizen-less government will always need more and more money to give itself relevance and power.

Unfortunately, the gene pool that would have revolted against this insanity have either been killed or have migrated to the New World. So, the Euroweenies may quietly go into slavery (further slavery) with folded hands.

Basically, Socialism doesn't work no matter where it's tried and no matter who's in charge. Although Nigel doesn't say the word, that's what he's talking about in this video. The EU will survive as long as the Germans accept working until 65 in order to pay the pensions of Greeks who retired at 50.
