www.gowildlife.org Bald eagle in Southern Utah recovering from a severe case of lead poisoning, probably from eating jackrabbits that were shot with shotguns and left where the raptors are quick to spot them and eat them, including the lead pellets. He came to us a month ago emaciated, extremely week and lethargic. Thanks Don Alger for seeing that he hadn't moved since the day before and reporting him to Martin Tyner of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation.
