It all began back in the Garden of Eden. Eve was seduced by Satan. Satan knew she would engage with him and her attributes of that he could tempt. Satan went outside of God's hierarchy. He went to Eve who came from Adam, not to Adam himself. Satan presented a good to her using very clever and pleasant words (women are verbal and sensual) and instead of going to Adam, she went outside of Adam's authority. Adam allowed her to, being nowhere to be found to protect her - a dereliction of duty - and then, instead of actually trying to remedy the situation by going to God, took and the fruit himself and then blames her. This is the story of us. Women continue to be seduced, wanting attention and men are not around to protect them as they are involved in their own pursuits, ignoring their wives. Instead of doing anything to charitably to correct the situation, they just go along with it. Same old story. Both are at fault.
It is the irony of modern society. Completely unacceptable for a wife to serve her husband breakfast, but perfectly acceptable to have her fetch her boss his coffee.
