The New Knights Templar
Funny how the minute a country has a problem that their own military can't handle or doesn't want to handle the first thing they scream is "Where's the US military?"

The same is true for foreign aid. Then they complain, "America doesn't have any interest in the world's problems." and when we do, quoting Mr. Vance, America "boldly goes where it has no business going." Gotta love that double standard. Some countries are like spoiled children... "I want my allowance but don't tell me what to do!"
The New Knights Templar
Isn't that the truth!!

Mr. Vance is a classic "independent" who's built a political philosophy around his own ignorance. Every enemy of the U.S. sees this country's military as "a force for evil" because their sympathies lie elsewhere.

The same is true for those who see law-enforcement mainly as villains . Their sympathies lie elsewhere as well, invariably in favor of a hazy notion of "libertarian freedumb." In …More

The same is true for those who see law-enforcement mainly as villains . Their sympathies lie elsewhere as well, invariably in favor of a hazy notion of "libertarian freedumb." In practice what they truly seek is nothing more than anarchy and ruin.

"Unjust wars"? The last two wars America fought were directed against Germany's attempts to take over Europe. Maybe Mr. Vance feels they were "unjust", but Europe today owes its existence to America's willingness to defend its freedom.

"It boldly goes where it has no business going. "It bombs countries that pose no threat to the US."

...as determined by Mr. Vance, yes? Mr. Vance and isolationists like him are the reason those "unjust wars" of the 20th century were fought in the first place. He's the sort of person who refuses to address a problem until it's practically too late to do anything about it.

America hasn't needed to fight "unjust wars" because it learned not to listen to Mr. Vance and people like him.

Problems are dealt with before they need a war to resolve. Kuwait is still Kuwait because America didn't listen to Mr. Vance.

"However, the militarization of the police and the rise of the warrior cop overshadow any injustices that individual policemen may have suffered."

Tell that to the families of the officers whose actions were legally justified but still lost their jobs thanks to left-wing "social justice". Tell it to the families of the officers who died in the line of duty. Mr. Vance's metric for "injustice" is as cross-eyed as his views on American foreign policy.

"The third unholy institution for Vance is the Republican Party...The Republicans are the party of the warfare and welfare state."

...that's why Republican politicians typically are the ones voting AGAINST welfare
. The man just discredited himself.

...and no, conservative Christians, Catholics especially don't "worship" any of these groups. Supporting an institution and deifying it are two different things. Mr. Vance probably knows that but he's forcing the comparison for rhetoric's sake.

This next line is all one really needs to know about this political contrarian/loony lefty.

Laurence M Vance:
If I voted, and if I lived in the state of Arizona, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, or South Dakota, I wouldn’t waste my vote on Trump or Biden—but I would cast my vote for more marijuana freedom. For the love of ganja. 🥴 🤪 🥴

Pot-head political theorists, nothing's worse. Nice find, HC. So this is why he despises "the warrior cop" (who busted his fave drug dealer) and the "militarized" agencies (who target the importers and manufacturers)..
