Benedict Is Dead: Gänswein’s Memoirs Are Already Printed

Archbishop Georg Gänswein will publish on January 12 Nient'altro che la verità. La mia vita al fianco di Benedetto XVI (Nothing but the Truth: My Life with Benedict XVI) in Italian.

The book was written with Saverio Gaeta, a specialist on Medjugorje. Piemme, the publishing house, promises the truth about "the blatant slanders and obscure manoeuvres" that tried in vain to cast a shadow on Benedict's pontificate.

Gänswein is expected to address the Vatileaks scandal, the relationship between Benedict and Francis, and the notorious abuse hoax.

The anti-Catholic ReligionDigital.org (January 3) presents the book as a "revenge" or "swan song" of Gänswein. It believes there is a “deep concern in the Vatican” about the book because of Gänswein's knowledge.

ReligionDigital also writes that Gänswein will not remain in the Vatican once the funeral is over.

Sorry, Lisis Sterndorfer, but here is what I also remember about Josef Ratzinger: Ratzinger advanced the heresy that the Jews (Talmudists) could enter into Heaven by adherence to the Old Covenant and without recourse to faith in Jesus Christ, contradicting Christ Himself, Who had proclaimed: "No one comes to the Father, but by me."

This is very serious business, one's faith in Christ. I have encountered Jewish rabbis who almost seem to want to smirk in their denial of Christ as the only way to His Father. In turn I have responded with Christ's monitum, "Women of Jerusalem weep not for me but for yourselves and your children."

I recall vividly the sanctity of Eugenio Pacelli-- he was Pope when I was born.

He was nothing like what attempts to pass for Roman Catholicism today. Ratzinger should have revoked the Novus Ordo. He did not.

Agree.
I don't understand why he never seemed to really see the demolition of our Faith wrought by the Novus Ordo Mass.

That Lefebvre started a "schism."
That the purpose of SP was to end the "schism."
That SP had "failed," and thus it must be nullified for the sake of "unity."
That the current liturgical books are the "unique expression" of the Roman Rite. I.e., that the pre-1963 missal and other books are not expressions of the Roman Rite.More
