About fifteen young Roman Rite Catholics knelt on January 21 in the church of Belle-Beille, France, to pray the rosary during an ecumenical ceremony.
Angers Bishop Emmanuel Delmas had gathered various denominations during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, in order to promote "openness" and "tolerance." But when Catholics started praying, the deacon Joël Caillé, who was present, called the police.
Bishop Delmas told media activists that he "strongly" condemned the prayer. According to him, the young people showed a “lack of respect for the prayer” and for the "sacred character of the church as a place of unity, peace and communion” which evidently excludes Catholics who pray the rosary.

"sacred character of the church as a place of unity, peace and communion” sorry bishop, but any organization and its facility can be a place of unity, peace and communion, the Catholic Church is more than that, or have you forgotten? Praise God and be thankful that these young people were there to remind you of that.

It speaks for itself. God bless those who pray, and change the hearts of those who should know better.

The bishop is probably gay to object to good traditional Catholic young people and label them as "integrists"

I guess nothing offends the bishop like praying the rosary. Far to Catholic for him.

These ''various denominations'' undoubtedly include protestants and possibly non-trinitarians. The worst in that is when catholic parishioners are invited (in return), by a denomination or by their catholic parish priest, to attend a protestant service in their meeting facilities on a given Sunday morning.

Hopefully this young people will generate big families and even more vocations, so Catholics can be the majority again and expel these apostate false bishops.
If not, at least when the judgment comes, they can show this work (and many others) to our Lord, which will be for their testimony of the faith and most likely condemnation to the protestant "bishop". (unless he converts to Catholicism and …More
