By that reasoning, the finest piece of art is a white, utterly blank wall. That aesthetic is like some bizarre Zen paradox. The best art is no art.

I think we've all seen modern Churches and modern Catholic art that reflects that sensibility. Personally, I know I'm not the only one who finds them stark and utterly barren. I think it reflects an entirely anti-human design aesthetic and that leads me to question the source of its inspiration.

Earlier generations equated rich visuals with the skill and time needed to create them, and the same is true for your art. I'm happy to say some of us still appreciate that reasoning.

This pretty thing is as "girly" as it can possibly get. Doesn't change the fact it can still kill a man dead in a heartbeat..
