The present pontiff needs to read St John Damascene who understood the absurdities of the beliefs of the Ishmaelites (Muslims) in the seventh century when they conquered Syria, Palestine and Egypt. St John was the Doctor of the Church, the First Apologist to Muslims. His Catechesis and Theological treatises served to PROSELYTISE Muslims and shore up orthodox Catholic belief.

It is obviously NOT the same God, since Christianity has been taught from the begining, that God sent His only begotten Son, to die on a Cross to save us from our sins. (He is called in John 1 "The Incarnate Word made Flesh" He is a Divine Being who is found in various places throughout the Tanakh ( Old Testament) and the ancient Aramaic Targums( see link below)
The Muslims have another being they have been introduced to - called"Allah, "whom can be found being mentioned at some juncture in one of the writings of the Jewish Apocrypha. Allah is not termed "God" in Hebrew Apocryphal Scriptures, he is referred to once somewhere (if I can find the link I'll post) as having been a demonic spirit linked with sorcery and occultist practices.

As Muslims do not believe in a Trinitarian God we do not believe in the same God. Obviously Bergoglio is deliberately disseminating error to continue to cause confusioin.
