Neo-Cardinals: Incompetent Down to the Details

Some of the twenty cardinals created on Saturday didn’t even know how to wear a biretta. The biretta is necessary for the liturgy and has three peaks …

Nice life though. Morning mass, Italian lunch, maybe a conference to two, dinner, and retirement with a comfy pension. How do I get this gig?

Francis is desperately packing the court as he gets closer to his judgement day.

When we get a pope worthy of the office he needs to turf out all the cardinals and start again with 12 good men.

How many of them even know the basics of the faith?

These anti-Catholic Bergoglian apostates do not belong to the Church that Jesus Christ founded. They belong to the Anti Church of the Antichrist.

13 For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

it's all gone.. all that grace, refinement, discipline, elegance, majesty, unity, gallantry, decorous, and genteel comportment.........gone. And, there are only a few of us left who even remember.

I think the new Cardinals, alone with their confreres in the Sacred College, will be assembling very soon, maybe withing a few months, to elect a new Pope. I watched the full ceremonies on YouTube of Francis in L'Aquila to venerate the tomb of the great Pope Celestine, and to open the Holy Year there. Not only did he NOT celebrate Mass (but rather slumped, and at times looked collapsed), in a throne, but he can not only not walk, but he can not raise himself up from a seated position....someone hand to come and lift him up under the arms to his feet, where at the Holy Door he could walk only 3-4 feet before he looked like he was going to fall, and they brought the wheelchair in,
At least, however, He opened the Holy Door with the traditional hammer, and didn't just push it open like JPII and Francis did at an earlier occasion in his pontificate.
But he looked ill, can not walk again, and appeared very weak.
Hopefully this coming time in conclave, a CAtholic emerges as the new Pope.....someone who loves, or at least respects and fosters, CAtholic tradition and the Latin Mass. Maybe a Pope Pius, Gregory, Benedict.....or maybe a name more remote in history, like an Innocent, Gelasius, or another Celestine.
Please God, not another Francis, or a John Paul III, or Paul or John.

Why are the robes of the new cardinals a rather ugly orange/reddish color, while the color of the robe of CArdinal Ottaviani pictured further down on this column is actually a beautiful red, that we would expect for CArdinals. Maybe I'm predjudiced, I hate the color orange in the first place 🤪

Cardinal Brenes, Nicaragua, missed the consistory yesterday. His mother is I'll and he chose to stay with her.

I pray for his mother and for Nicaragua

Accidents from selection due to not deriving from licit source.

Predictably boring.

Dr Bobus logic doesn't contradict theology
Dr Bobus
It can if the major premise is wrong.
Rafał_Ovile
agree, especially when St Vincent Ferrer and other, including elites , followed antipopes... Nothing new and unusual in CC history...

I served a Benediction with Card Ottovani while visiting Rome in 1972. He was all but blind.
I wonder how many know he was a pacifist.More

He would have made a great Pope in 1958 or 1963 rather than who the Church got stuck with.
