Now This Is News: Vatican Inspects Hotbed of Modernism

In December, the Vatican paid an "extraordinary visit” to the ecumenical Monastic Community of Bose, Italy, a hotbed of modernism.

Its founder, Enzo Bianchi, 77, is a famous anti-Catholic.

Repubblica.it (February 19) speaks of a “Vatican inspection,” and a “problematic moment.”

In January 2017, Bianchi was succeded as a prior by Luciano Manicardi. Republica.it suggests a conflict between the two.

The Vatican delegation was composed by Benedictine Abbot Guillermo León Arboleda Tamayo, Father Amedeo Cencini, a consultor of the Congregation for Religious, and Trappist Abbess Anne-Emmanuelle Devêche of Blauvac.

Problems regard the exercise of authority, the government, and the fraternal climate.

However, according to Bianchi these are "only malicious rumours."

Hey mattsixteen24 ask Thors Catholic Hammer to show where in Canon Law or Church Magisterium the Catholic Church defines a "major rupture" as opposed to a minor one. Crackers the Parrot loves inventing such distinctions.
The more wrong he is, the more adjectives he piles on in the process. That's why he's squawking about not just any "rupture" but a "major doctrinal dogmatic rupture "

Crackers forgets that by the standards he's applying to Amoris Laetitia, Saint John Paul II is also a "now excommunicated antipope" for "Domine Jesus", since he approved it. If no heretic can become a true Pope, then the document also condemns then-Cardinal Ratzinger.

Either Canon Law and Church teachings are applied to ALL clerics, past and present, or we give them the benefit of the doubt. Selective application is outright hypocrisy.

But beware: it must be an ultra benevolent inspection armed with screwdrivers, just to put back a few bolts a little rusty .

@Thors Catholic Hammer So muslims and jews worship the same God as Catholics? The Catholic Church subsists in the Church and isn't the Church? The novus ordos does not represent the protestant "mass"? Everyone has the right to religious liberty? etc,etc... Right... no rupture or heresy there. but but it wasn't solemnly defined... oh? Is ordinary magisterium not infallible?

A major rupture would have to relate to defined and dogmatic catholic truth. I am not aware of any such overt thing in the documents of Vatican 2.
Indeed there are none nor can there be since that council made no binding declaration on catholic doctrine.
(Having said all that a major doctrinal dogmatic rupture has occurred with the publication of Amoris Laetitia by an alleged “pope”.)

There are Catholics who still believe Vatican II was not a major rupture in the Church and that it's only being interpreted wrong...They haven't figured out that modernist employ double speak and the documents were intentionally made to be misinterpreted... www.traditioninaction.org/religious/i043_Hyprocrisy.htm

Antipope francis admires the odious Bianchi.
Nothing surprising in that considering francis described abortionist Emma Bonino as ““one of the greats of Italy today” and gave a “papal “ medal to a Dutch abortionist .
