It may have been a Freudian slip by the policeman at the end of the TV program on pell last night on the Australian ABC TV program. The policeman presumably meant to say that the witness did a great job in presenting his evidence, but instead the words that leaked out were that the witness did a great job "in being believable". It suggests to me that even the policeman thinks that the evidence of the witness is a load of old cobblers.

Pell has certainly been thrown under the bus in this trial. The witness is keeping mum. Non one knows who he is. He did not even appear at the trial. Recordings of his evidence at the first trial (which ended with a hung jury) were presented..

Do not forget the other "layers of defence" not mentioned above: the cassock and the civil vestment (trousers and pants below them).

It is good to hear these facts that make the crime literally impossible. I am very concerned about justice measuring any poor recollection as absolute fact. If you do this, accusers can stumble all they want with their memory and it won't matter.
