Collins was one of the first bishops to close down all Masses in March ( English letter).
Now he pontificates that under persecution “we” will celebrate the Mass “whatever governments tells us not to do, we will do it, if it is persecution, we go underground.”
However, the coronavirus is for him a “sensible reason” to abolish Masses as it is about an epidemic and about not putting other people in danger.
