Italian Synod Failed: Closing Document Scrapped Amid Avalanche of Amendments
The Italian Synod has ended after four years but without a final document. Erio Castellucci of Modena, and blasphemer of Carpi, announced on Thursday that so many amendments had been proposed during the three days of deliberations that the draft of the final document would have to be completely reworked.
Castellucci is the head of the Italian Synod. Another "final version" will be voted on October 25.
An anonymous participant told Repubblica.it that the final text doesn't reflect the four years of discussions.
There is no reference to a [impossible] possibility of new ordained ministries for women.
Regarding homosexuals, the now rejected final text only mentions 'accompaniment'.
Delegates "showered" the final text with criticism. The number of amendments was like an avalanche.
Monsignor Castellucci promised that they would 'all' be included.

First the bishop who had the mosaics of Marko Rupnik covered in the Sanctuary of Lourdes, now this rejection... it seems as if the "king" is now weak and no longer scary and so the riots begin... it's just a thought 
The base of the synodal assembly of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI), meeting this week in the Vatican, rejected the text presented by the leadership, forcing any decision to be postponed until the assembly of October 25.
“During these days of the assembly, accents, experiences and critical questions have arisen,” admitted Bishop Erio Castellucci, in charge of directing the work.
This will only delay them. Progressives will always go back and rework, and spin it to where it's ambiguous enough to give the appearance of an alightment with Tradition but open to the Progressive juggernaut. They are masters of word smithery and sophistry par excellence. What is a needed is a Pope who is willing to excise the Progressive cancer.
