Oh dear, we know that this 'liturgical play' phenomenon is as old as the liturgy itself (e.g. it survives in the Palm Sunday and Good Friday Liturgies), however, it no long forms part of the Latin Rite ouside of the Palm Sunday and Good Friday Liturgies. On the other hand, local custom is very strong, one reckons; the older the country, the more difficult it might be to remove.
