If your local bishop, the bishops’ conference, the Vatican, and moral theology principles from the Fathers & Doctors disagree whether an act is moral, discernment is in order. If all agree, or most agree & others are silent, we should listen. There is no way to go astray following the Church. This is all the more true when there is agreement both locally and universally, both now and historically.

Are these the wonderful Bishops we should listen to, Father? Our silent, supine shepherds are virtually all on the road to perdition and would have us follow them:
I think it is operative to ask if the vatican today represents Catholicism and the Church. It is clearly obvious that generally the vatican and average bishops today represent the errors of Russia and are no longer practicing Catholics. By their fruits you will know them.

2) oppose the Bishops' decision to issue a public statement -- completely in accord with Canon Law -- that Democrat politicians who openly support abortion should be refused Holy Communion;
3) issue Voting Guidance that virtually directed Catholics to vote for Biden in the last election -- a politician who has used his career to support abortion rights
4) Lobby to continue the floods of illegal immigrants pouring into our country (which is contrary to Catholic Social Teaching, Saint Thomas Aquinas on the rights of a country to defend its borders, etc., etc.)
5) everything except the true Catholic Faith.
And he's supposed to be an authority for us....?

We don't need to listen to our Bishops, Father -- we discern by directing our consciences according to 2,000 years of solid, unchanging Catholic Magisterium.
Father, you are 50 years too late to the scene -- we have watched the "Hierarchy" destroy our Church's Patrimony for decades, replacing it with lies, moral confusion, tacitly approved sacrilege, marxism and subterfuge. They no longer have our confidence or trust in anything; nor are they worthy of it. Period.

I won't be listening to my prelate. The Cardinal of our Archdiocese was asked on two separate occasions on his YouTube channel about whether it was OK to take the jab produced in fetal cell lines and he encouraged everyone to take it EVEN THOUGH my country gives you an option of another vaccine which has no association to fetal cell lines i.e. the second approved vaccine is not produced/manufactured/developed/tested in fetal cell lines. In the second instance, he was specifically asked about the morally acceptable vaccine and he recommended the abortion tainted vaccine instead. Moreover, he himself has taken the abortion tainted vaccine and so have most of the clergy. Catholic parishes and hospitals have chosen to promote the abortion tainted vaccine instead of the vaccine which is not abortion tainted. Meanwhile, the politicians at the highest levels of govt, celebrities, and super rich are taking the morally acceptable vaccine even though they are not Catholic.
Yes I would like to hear some official teaching from the Bishops it would be interesting. Usually all we get is democrat talking points and how we really can't do anything against the evil in this world!
If the Bishops were really anti abortion they could have stopped it years age! And yes the talking point is the old Mario Coumo stick,ie I am personally opposed but and of course there is the seamless garment nonsense and the anti death penalty nonsense,no nearly all the Boshops are good democrats.
