""I have been hiding under the bed hoping the Coronavirus doesn’t find me."Oh dear.
o.O Charity compels me to introduce you to the many horrors of...
Dust Mites.
:Pwww.healthline.com/health/dust-mites-bitesVile little creatures. Now that I think of it, I regret not familiarizing Thors Catholic Hammer to their dangers. "They're
Bergoglians, Thor. Milions of microscopic
Bergoglians, they're covered in
germs and they crawl on your eyelashes when you sleep.".
post.healthline.com/…/Dust-mite-1296x…"Fortunately we still have the entertainment of GTV to sustain us during these trying times."...and YouTube, as the "scholarship" of many users here demonstrates.
:DHere's an idea... Next time you see the "visually impaired" user, pass along this handy page
www.health.ny.gov/help/text_size.htmI sometimes magnify pages myself. Not because I'm visually impaired but because some sites are optimized for Mac users. They favor the Mac visual aesthetic of all-white with faint grey lettering, invariably at exceptionally small point sizes. The combination always has me magnifying the page. Maybe those tiny font sizes look "cool" on gigantic Mac monitor resolutions, I dunno.
Personally, perhaps it's uncharity born of bitter experience, I suspect the user is employing
Thor's Rhetorical Trick #46: The Heavy Headlines. It's a "visual soundbyte" to make their comments "stand out" in a discussion.
While I'm not familiar with everyone (especially in the foreign language section) there are (or were) at least two users notably obsessed with repeating themselves: "Crackers The Parrot" and "The Town of Coimbra (Portugal)". The latter was just noise, the former insufferable.
I'm delighted and flattered you count me an insightful user. Jungereld certainly is.
"Overall, the incessant nearly palpable negativity of many - perhaps most - posters at GTV is overwhelming."I can be guilty of that, won't deny it. GTV has been an eye-opener for me and I can't say I always like what I see, either in the Church or her flock.
"Are we not called to be a glass half-full joyous people?"Yes, yes we are. That's a good point,
and a good quote from Scripture.
Please take it easy,
Holy Cannoli. Stay strong! (physically and emotionally).
