Trump Couldn't Succeed - We Did

For fifteen years, Gloria.tv has developed as a fully functional, technically totally independent (= no backdoors to secret services) social media. Social communication is about information, knowledge, entertainment, fun. As a priest from Mexico wrote us last week, “Your page has been a great blessing for my spiritual life and my ministry.“

But: Social communication is also about power, freedom and survival. It is also a weapon, and, today, it is used as a weapon.

Former US president Donald Trump understood only after he was banned on the big platforms, that free commercial social media do not exist. Therefore, he announced to start his own platform. But those familiar with social media technology knew that it is impossible to create an “online town" within a few months. At this point, not even the registration process of Trump's social network works. Unfortunately, the project seems to be failing. Oligarch media activists correctly describe the platform as a “nonstarter,” a “flop” full of “technical failures.”

What Trump (net worth: $2.5 billion) is not able to do, Gloria.tv has been doing for the past fifteen years. We have managed to develop a social media platform that simply works. It's not as simple as you may think. Think of user uploads, converting processes, chats, notifications, the 'like' system, valuing and listing content, video calls, filters, individualised opening page… and all this massively scalable (= open to any amount of users).

Gloria.tv has built its own technology. No venture capital, no stocks. Nevertheless, it is working and growing, only with YOUR donations, financed exclusively by God's "oligarchs," i.e. the famous grandmothers with their rosaries, the little ones, the poor, some priests, some friends, some relatives. THANK YOU ALL.

Living with very limited funds from the beginning, we generated a loss of € 4,000 last year and tightened the belt ever more in 2022. But still: In all these years, Holy Providence enabled us to pay our bills and, like an invisible hand, helped us to develop Gloria.tv.

To cut things short: The commercial social media have turned into instruments of censorship because they use and block communication according to the ideology of their owners. They have morphed into a Woke-Communist Party. So: Who will protects the interests and the communication of the Church in a time when money and insanity rules?

God alone knows what will become of Gloria.tv and why he put all of us into this project, our donors, the writers, the readers, WE are ALL partakers of Gloria.tv. As the current uncertain times unfold around us, for Gloria.tv, the best is yet to come.

Some of the properties of a troll is an online contrarian who enjoys arguing via provocation and emotional manipulation. They thrill in getting a rile out of their opponent and will keep the argumentation going to no end enjoying the frustration, anger and stress they sow in an online forum. This gives them a sense of intellectual superiority and power over their online targets. They will never cease until their responders cease posting as they always get in the last word, a sign that they have won and are superior. It is the hallmark of an anti-social and narcissistic personality.

I've read your posts and interacted in some discussions with you, and you definitely don't fit the characteristics of a troll. You seem to genuinely want to engage in a dialectical discussion in order to advance and move toward a greater understanding and grasp of the truth of the matter at hand. And, your discussions are respectful and without provocation.
