Father what about having contrition for offending God, and a firm purpose of ammerndment not to offend Him again? It's not about how WE feel but "seeing" ourselves as God sees us. The sad reality is that only a small percentage of the congregation go to confession, but mostly everyone receives. (i've observed in the traditional parishes as well) Are these people saints? Priests need to address this …More
