Germany: Old Catholic Female Priest At The Altar

As every year around Exaltation of the Cross, the deanery of Coesfeld, Germany, invited to the Kreuzwoche (Cross Week) in which Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick (+1824) already participated.

The opening was on 11 September by Münster Bishop Felix Genn. He consecrated in St. Lamberti parish a new meal table in the rough shape of a Masonic cube. The thing looks like a brutal block in the sanctuary.

On 12 September, Canon Jürgen Lenssen, the art advisor of Würzburg Diocese, presided over the Eucharist followed by a sand show.

On 13 September, Green Party politician Benedikt Öhmann preached at the Eucharist on "Healthy Vegetables in the Climate Crisis." As soon as the Eucharist began, he wanted to speak snatching the microphone from the presiding priest. His speech after the Gospel began with "Good evening."

On 14 September, for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, the Old Catholic lay priest Klara Robbers preached saying that as an Old Catholic she wants to shape the Church for Christian women today.

On 15 September, Anne Arntz, the mother of District Dean Arntz of Coesfeld, preached in St. Lamberti "as a retired chaplain and a seasoned woman in the church".

The last woman to speak was Dr Andrea Qualbrink on 18 September, also at a Eucharist. She looks after adulterous and homosexual personnel in Essen Diocese in keeping with the decadent German Synodal Way.

Hideously ugly play block table and floor cushions to go with the dressy up ... fitting for a believe-what-you-like Protestant event like this.

Ain't nothing but a pathetic protestant service.

The idea that any of this is valid Catholicism in any sense is a joke. They're all nutters - "Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad" comes to mind, but the original source from Sophocles is much fuller.

Chorus
[615] See how that hope whose wanderings are so wide truly is a benefit to many men, but to an equal number it is a false lure of light-headed desires. The deception comes to one who is wholly unawares until he burns his foot on a hot fire. [620] For with wisdom did someone once reveal the maxim, now famous, that evil at one time or another seems good, to him whose mind a god leads to ruin. [625] But for the briefest moment such a man fares free of destruction.

I reckon PMama and her fellow 'gods' are quite busy at present and that there are going to be more than a few burnt feet and hot flames around in the spiritual sense!

"Healthy Vegetables in the Climate Crisis." -- kind of sums up the Francis "pontificate." Stay healthy, have the intellect of a vegetable.

From what I have learned of the "Old Catholics" they were more traditional this this circus!

I was just checking this out. The “Old Catholics” have split. Those in union with Utrecht seem to accept females as candidates for “orders.” They have been in union with Canterbury since 1934. There is a branch that has broken away from them which ordains only men. Heresy leads to schism leads to more heresy…

Of course Jorge Bergoglio would be particularly happy with how well the Synodal Way is progressing in Germany. They are doing so much of the dirty work for him....and doing most swiftly and efficiently. Well done German apostates!!!
