France: Fraternity of Saint Peter hopes that Francis will not backtrack on Vatican commitments
Gathered in Sées from 26 to 29 October 2021, for their annual meeting, the priests of the District of France of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter spoke of challenges, in certain places, to their identity and their apostolate, as well as serious concerns expressed by the faithful entrusted to them by the Church.
They unanimously reaffirmed their attachment to the founding charism of the Fraternity of St. Peter, and in particular to their unwavering fidelity to the Tridentine liturgy and the Holy See.
The priests of the District of France of the Fraternity of St. Peter intend to continue their mission in the service of the Church and souls, confident that the authority of the Church will not go back on the commitments made at the time of the founding of the Fraternity of St. Peter.
They entrust themselves to the maternal protection of the Virgin Mary and to the intercession of Saint Peter.
