Interesting how easily it is to get a short-lived V2 pope (who may , or may not, have fudged his medical history prior to the conclave according to some reports) canonized but so difficult to canonize a faithful son of the Church and true Faith like Archbishop Fulton Sheen.

Come on, who cares about the Bergoglian 100 % "canonization" of the post-conciliar mess?
It has become too ridiculous to be credible.

The only good thing that could possibly come from this is for more people to lose confidence in the Conciliar Church. I hope the man is in heaven, but canonization is for martyrs, and the heroically virtuous. For Popes, you would have to add all that comes with confirming the brethren. I hope the man is in heaven, but canonization is for martyrs, and the heroically virtuous. For Popes, you would have to add all that comes with confirming the brethren. All that we have from him are a bunch of somewhat humorous letters he wrote to newspapers before becoming Pope, published under the title Illustrissimi. Has anyone delved deeply into the way the canonization process was altered, when Escriva’s cause was ongoing? I have always suspected malfeasance, but I would like to see some research.

Is sainthood now back up for sale to the highest bidder?
I cannot be certain it wasn't for sale. But, this and personal allegiance were implied as major contributors to selection in the past.

If I took the word of doctors each and every time...

- I will need blood transfusions every 90 days (thalassemia)

- I will be unable to serve in military (asthma ... caused by undiagnosed allergies causing congestion and inflamation)
- I will have a damaged walking gate (both ankles were broken)
- My thumb tip will never feel (sliced off a few inches with glass)
- I will never be able to sustain a strong grip with left hand (severed most tendons in left hand)
- I will never walk again (nerve damage caused during a seizure caused by medication)

What... no sainthood for me?

Could it be the doctors were wrong?

Definitely NO... they were faultless and always will be (NOT).
