Francis Met Archbishop Removed by Benedict XVI

According to Tyzden.sk Francis had lunch and a long conversation with retired Trnava Archbishop Róbert Bezák, Slovacchia.

On 24 June, Francis co-presided a Eucharist with Bezák and returned to him the episcopal ring which he had sent to the Vatican years ago in one of his many appeals for a review of his case.

Bezák was appointed Trnava Archbishop in April 2009 when he was only 49. From the beginning, he wanted to promote an “open Church” – a euphemism for a Church which is open to everything but the Catholic Faith.

He also denigrated several times his predecessor Ján Sokol, 87, for alleged financial mismanagement.

However, a January 2012 apostolic visit led by Bishop Jan Baxant, 72, of Litoměřice found that Bezák himself was guilty of statements contrary to Church doctrine regarding female priesthood, priestly celibacy, and premarital sex. In July 2012 Bezák was removed.

Since December 2013, Bezák who is a Redemptorist, has been living in the Redemptorist monastery in Bussolengo near Verona, Italy.

In the midst of this ever-multiplying apostasy, let us do as Our Lady has asked so that the Grace of the Consecration of Russia can be given to a holy pope. She has asked us to make a Confession and Communion of Reparation for all the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Her Divine Son on the First Saturdays of the month - and to pray the Rosary daily. In the End, Her Immaculate Heart will triumph over all apostasy!

I'll post this again...... Just to make sure you all see it.

Didn't the "separated brethren" invited to take part in Vatican II, tell Rome that the Latin Language was an obstacle to FULL Communion?.. Then what on earth is THIS all about? What modernist Rome values as worthless - merely an obstacle to FULL union, the SB were secretly valuing as "a pearl of great price"

Perhaps it's not that our "separated brethren" didn't like Latin, it's that they didn't like the fact that WE had it and they didn't.

"With one fools head I came to woo, but now I go away with TWO" (Shakespeare - The Merchant of Venice, 2.9.74-5)

(& possibly how the upper hierarchy of the ecumenical Latin-discarding Vatican II led Church feels after reading this news report") 🤪

Latin will be taught in state schools to end its ‘elitist’ status

Officials believe subject will help pupils learn modern foreign languages and could bring improvements in English and maths

Take a look at this link - to learn about the constant Catholic teaching that Our Lady will conquer all heresies! This is the deeper meaning of the promise She gave us at Fatima: In the END, My Immaculate Heart will triumph catholictradition.org/Mary/mary5.htm

@Live Mike. You noticed too, eh? Great minds think alike. ;-)
The New Knights Templar
@Live Mike @Ultraviolet Wow, I missed that but I know what it is referring too. I guess there goes my chances of being a great mind.

There's always next time. :) I suspect @Live Mike grew up reading either "Highlights" or "Mad Magazine." Both of those fine educational publications made an art of placing all kinds of clever gags in the backgrounds/ marginalia. A few formative years spent reading them developed an eye for detail.
