For some time now the tendency in medicine is to limit Hospital stay. When my father was told that he had about 3 weeks to live (cancer), he was sent home.
Besides, a hospital room can be set up where the pope is staying, I was told almost 10 years before JPII died that a hospital bed with IV unit was set up in the papal Palace
I just heard on FOXNEWS before heading to work at my local HS where I teach History (and Japanese as an elective language), that Bergoglio might be released from the hospital as early as tomorrow, Saturday.
Looks like he didn't have much of a problem after all. Alittle Tylenol, Robutussin, and an oral antibiotic would have done the trick.....but they had to make a big show of it.
That is, unless he really has a true problem other than the sniffles and cough.
@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori I don't think they made a show. They tried to hide an accute emergency. Now I think they try to make it look like a regular thing.
