First Images Relased: “Saint Francis” Honours Francis of Buenos Aires
The local regime said that the project “builds bridges between human civilisations and heavenly messages [plural!]" and is a physical manifestation of Francis’ [heretical] Abu Dhabi Document.
The names of the three houses of worship have been revealed as Imam Al Tayeb Mosque, St Francis Church, and Moses ben Maimon Synagogue.
The regime explained that this naming recognises the work of Grand Imam Al Tayyeb, 75, of Francis [not Francis of Assisi], and of Maimonides (+1204), a Spanish born Rabbi (TheNationalNews.com, June 15).
The project, due to open next year, was designed by Ghanaian-British architect David Adjaye who told the oligarchs’ World Economic Forum in 2021 that his project hits on the trinity of this Abrahamic faith.”
The project is sponsored by the local dictator, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, and is only one of many mega construction sites in Abu Dhabi. Among them is a Hindu temple, a 405-store mall, the world’s tallest observation wheel, the world’s tallest hotel (360m, 1,209 luxury suites), a Museum of the Future, two 304-meter towers, a stadium, and a 1’000 km railway.
