Initially we thought it important to remember the fact that Brazil was already consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1946 and the act proposed for today was the renewal of the act of consecration previously performed.

Concerning the participation of the President in the act, many questioned the silence of the same and the fact of not having signed the act of renewal of the consecration.
