Pope Francis explains in his next interview-new book Adesso fate le vostre domande ("Now, ask your questions") talking to his mouthpiece, Father Antonio Spadaro, why he gives so many interviews, "It is a way of communicating my ministry.” Francis believes that the interviews have a “pastoral value” and that the questions of the journalists are “the worries of the common people”.
He admits that he answers spontaneously and does not prepare himself.
