I think it would be a wonderful idea if they used all the old wood and stones that are rubble to make relics of the church ( think of the 100's of thousands of Holy Masses said there, the crowning of kings etc,) with the proceeds solely going towards an authentic restoration. Using the time frame of the 1800's to 2018. I think they would be able to raise quite a bit of money if it was presented …More

Using the time frame of the 1800's to 2018. I think they would be able to raise quite a bit of money if it was presented beautifully in a traditional manner , perhaps with an architectural drawing to make clear what the restoration would look like. I would buy into that.
