Humour is a function of the intellectual and psychological maturation of an individual.
Not necessarily. There are intelligent men who find the "3 Stooges" to be funny but most women (from my limited experience) despise their comedy. Ditto for Benny Hill.

Doina's home videos were cute, entertaining, interesting and I enjoyed them but I wouldn't call them humorous. I don't beleive they were filmed in order to evoke laughter in the viewer.

Think about the examples of Gloria.tv humour and compare them with yours (as evinced by this video). What differences are there?

The difference is that Nonna, apri la porta. was a commercial endeavor that was clearly meant for a free thinking non-secular audience. Doina's videos, by contrast, were meant for the family including her extended family at Gloria.Tv. Now to treat of the video's appropriateness.

This is the problem, you may find "Nonna, apri la porta" funny - fine, but is it appropriate for Gloria.tv? The answer, based on the example of Gloria.tv, i.e. Doina's videos, is quite negetive.

If the appropriateness of the video were “quite negative” then not only was I at fault for posting such a thing but the entire administration of Gloria is at fault for permitting it to be posted and also to be featured.

The bottom line is that this video is a matter of taste and about taste I quote the following: De gustibus non est disputandum.

Si vis pacem, para bellum.

😡

p.s. I like the expression thinking "outside the box." Unfortunately some posters, as seen on this thread, are so far from thinking "outside the box" they are the box itself. Why? In my opinion it's the fault of a contrived idea of what it means to be a Christian. If we truly believe what we claim to beleive, then we ought to be filled with joy and hope not pettiness or fault finding.
