I have a theory that sexual attitudes including comfort with one's own sexuality are much more liberal in Europe than in the United States. Although I have no evidence that would indicate this is true, since you are living in Europe and have probalby traveled extensively and have had the opportunity to observe behavior in various countries, I'm wondering if you might have a more informed opinion?
This Italian video is a very small example but it may be a sign that sexual attitudes in Europe are much "freeer" and less prudish than in the states.
