On June 5th the Italian vaticanista Sandro Magister published an article about the media activities of the Knights of Columbus, the world's largest Catholic service organization based in New Haven, Connecticut. Magister writes, that the Knights dispense 100,000 dollars for the very liberal “Vatican Insider”, the religious information site that is most closely connected to Pope Francis. Its coordinator is Andrea Tornielli, a friend of Jorge Mario Bergoglio since long before he was elected to the papacy and still his frequent visitor.
