Bishop Barron Does Not Want To Undo Gay Marriage

Bishop Barron going soft on gay marriage.

It's hard to be a good theologian and a Company Man at the same time.
This is a very astute point. Pray for Bishop Barron to fall totally in love with Jesus.

How about first falling in love with Truth? Someone can't be Catholic without being catholic.
He craves the respect of the world, forgetting what Christ said; Human respect means nothing to me.
Repent!! Wolves walking to hell....but wait hell is empty.
There is nothing like marriage between same sex individuals and he (Barron) is quiet or maybe sooo merciful....
The New Evangelization seems to be about offering confusing language - in love, of course - so-as to not hold the sinner responsible for...sin. This guy sees straight through it and doesn't back down. Useless, if you ask me. The straw man argument is more than useless. It's counterproductive and dangerous.

Well this just goes to prove....
I do not much care what this man has to say.
I would add to the above that "...there is NO salvation outside of the Catholic Church."
I do not care very much what men say of me, provided that God approves of me. ∼ St. Thomas More
Bishop Barron is personable, glib, slick—and unreliable. He will say lots of good, true things, (giving him the appearance of orthodoxy) but folds up at strategic moments as seen in this vid.

It appears as though Barron has fallen to the glamor of evil and is sacrificing the teachings of Christ for the accolades of the world. Although I imagine that he prides himself on riding the fine line between traditional orthodoxy and Bergoglian liberalism, his duplicity and scandalous cowardice are now exposed for all to see. Exposed, that is, for all of those who are willing to see.

Nevertheless, he will be given even more interviews with leftist newsies because of his “progressive” (as opposed to rigid) Catholicism. This will add to his celebrity which means more book sales...which means more $$$$.

Keep in mind that this is the same bishop that preaches it is “reasonable to hope that Hell is empty”. It puts things into real perspective.

This makes one cringe. Love and respect imply having a clear position that is based on a responsible faithfulness to ones calling. The Church has her position. Rubin has an incompatible position. There is no discussion, since no universal humanistic reason can bridge the gap that is routed in the will of God and its rejection. We have to leave it there. There is no discussion, since no universal humanistic reason can bridge the gap that is routed in the will of God and its rejection. We have to leave it there. For human beings who want to control everything this is naturally not very pleasant. It means a significant loss of control. As faithful Catholics we find our peace in the love and trust of God. We don’t need total control. We have eternal love.
