NEW: The ladies of The View suggest Elon Musk is planning to overtake Trump as the de facto president …
Do they also think Joe Biden has been president the last 4 years?

My guess is that 20% are inclined to resist. In practice, only a fraction of a percent actually offer real resistance. If 1-2% of people actively resisted tyranny, the entire population would become ungovernable. One of the reasons in favor of priestly celibacy is that being unencumbered by earthly concerns should make them more inclined to stand up for the truth, even when it is most inconvenient. But, that isn’t even part of present day priestly formation.

All of this has gotten so much worse while “environmentalists” have complained of almost nothing besides CO2 levels, which do not even constitute pollution.

Back in 1993, Bill Clinton’s original pick for Surgeon General had her nomination scuttled for having promoted this. I doubt it would cause too much controversy today, sadly.
Bishop Stowe Installs Women Acolytes: “I Waited Long Enough…”
True, though the officially instituted ministries were still restricted to men until Francis opened them to women, and, seminarians are still instituted into the “lay ministries.” That ought to end, in the present context, in my opinion.
Listen to Women—Birth Control's Side Effects Are Real - Fides et Ratio
I wonder how many divorces have resulted from women marrying men to whom they were attracted when on the pill, but were disgusted by when they stopped taking it?
Bishop Stowe blesses 3 women in ceremony recognizing lay ministry roles
Nuchurch Francis opened up the “ministry” of acolyte to women a few years ago. Clearly, the only thing it has in common with the minor order of acolyte is its name. Even Nuchurch should quit installing seminarians as acolytes, as a preparation for priesthood given that this is now officially permitted.
Chicago Cardinal: Don't Kneel for Communion Because of "Community Procession"
In the parish where I grew up, “row by row” distribution didn’t come around until the early 90s, but now, hardly anyone remembers any other way.
What are Ember Days? When are Ember Days?
Up until Ember Days were abolished by Nuchurch, Ember Saturday in Advent was the day most Roman seminarians were ordained to the priesthood.
‘As we pray …’
It’s no surprise that Chicago has roughly half the number of seminarians it had during the latter years if Cardinal George.
FACES OF WATERGATE with DENNIS DAILY -- Fr. Robert Drinan
What a scandal it was to have a pro-abortion priest in the US Congress. And, in one of the final acts of his life, he celebrated a mass to commemorate Nancy Pelosi’s ascendancy to the speakership. He was an absolute disgrace.
Trump can fire anybody he wants, thanks to Sean Spicer
Anyone that he can’t fire (as in elected officials and non-appointees), he can revoke the security clearance of. He needs to do this, but I doubt he will.
Wilton Gregory Dealing With Multi-Million Dollar Deficit
It’s not surprising that economic leftists would think that raising tax rates would increase revenue. Hopefully, donations will crash, and they will go bankrupt. Take care of the priests directly.
Cardinal Ruini: John Paul II Was Not a Conservative
They made “pastoral errors” implementing a pastoral council. The “pastoral error” they made was that they abolished or attenuated any dogma or doctrine that was in the way of their pastoral initiatives.

Presidential salaries have only been increased 5 times since the constitution went into effect in 1789. It was $25k initially. It was $75k from 1909 to 1949, then rising to $100k until 1969, and going to the present $400k in 2001. I believe that George Washington was said to have accepted his salary, which was a king’s ransom at the time, because he didn’t want the presidency to be seen as an office only attainable by the super rich. What it has become, since Bill Clinton, is an office that leads to great wealth after leaving office, which is probably even worse.
Legacy media fear Trump retribution, but ignore years of Obama-Biden attacks on conservative outlets
@Tom Morelli Yes, but also that they want the attention. It’s time to treat them like the toddlers they are.
Legacy media fear Trump retribution, but ignore years of Obama-Biden attacks on conservative outlets
There needs to be no retribution against the legacy media, beyond preventing them from being propped up. None of these lefties have any hope of gaining influence in the new media landscape. Does anyone really think that Chris Wallace or Anderson Cooper have any future? Just let them humiliate themselves.
