The article claims that he has a degree in Canon Law from The Catholic University of Salta. This raises some questions. The UCASAL does not have a Theology faculty in the strict sense. It has professors, usually parish priests, who teach catechism/theology to the general student population who has a number of required courses in philosophy and theology. I see nothing on their webpage to indicate that they offer a degree in canon law. Neither did I see anything for the Seminary of Salta or the Teacher's college that is related to the University. That does not mean that there was not a short-lived canon law program at one time. I am just curious. It may be a mistake in the press release. '??????

If the N.O. Mass is not in continuity with V.O. Mass and has a different theology, then it does not represent the faith of your grandparents, of the Saints, of the Martyrs, and of the Apostles. I don't want the faith of Roche and Cantalamessa. I want the faith of Edith Stein, Maximilian Kolbe, Don Bosco, Ignatius of Loyola, Francis of Assisi, Gregory the Great and Peter. The only way forward is the hermeneutic of continuity.
