In recent months, Benepapism has seemed to be getting a bit more visibility. Patrick Coffin had Dr. Mazza on his show, and LifeSiteNews had him on as well. Unfortunately, Catholic media has pretty much gone easy on Benepapism by failing to provide a critical examination of its arguments.
Also, unfortunately, some leading Benepapists have recently published a Declaration and signed petition announcing their fidelity to Benedict as the still reigning pope. This Declaration goes on to proclaim the petitioners will not accept the results of a future conclave that does not meet certain criteria they(!) have outlined.
Given the above, it seems a resource is necessary to address the Benepapist arguments. The attached article below provides links to a critical examination of all the key documents in argument over Benepapism (e.g., the Declaratio, Benedict's last audience, and Ganswein's speech), as well as some documents the Benepapists don't like to talk about (e.g., Normas Nonnullas, and …More

The top, leading Benepapists are in the midst of an internecine war.
The arguments of Ann Barnhardt/Mark Docherty/Dr. Edmund Mazza against Andrea Cionci/Br. Bugnolo/Estefania Acosta and vice versa, in themselves, provide an argumentum ad absurdum against Benepapism in general.
Grab some popcorn, and enjoy the reductio ad absurdum.

Matty's rudeness is "his true character in full display". Your rudeness is "somebody had to say it out loud". You're as bad as Michael Newman and littler wonder you go to the same kind of "chapels."

Notice all those comments were directed to one person alone: UV. They were well-deserved observations, accurate and pretty much sum up what the general readership at GTV thinks of UV. And that's not my fault either.
Someone had to say it out loud. Many people who have contacted me by Chat say the same things about UV.
However, I repented of saying such things even to someone like UV! ....it's unbefitting GTV, so I went to Confession and BLOCKED UV so I wouldn't be tempted to commit the same sins again.
Perhaps UV and MM can take a turn and do the same....?

Dr. Mazza appeared on Patrick Coffin's show a few months back to argue for his thesis that "Benedict is still pope." To make his argument that Ratzinger, before becoming pope, had held erroneous views of the papacy, essentially that the 'papacy is a sacrament.' Attempting to prove his point, Dr. Mazza cited quotes from two of Ratzinger's books. The attached article takes a close look at these quotes to determine whether what Dr. Mazza says about them is really true. The reality is, the quotes do not correspond to what is alleged about them, showing Dr. Mazza either did not understand them, or that he innocently misstated what they say.
