My name is Jozef Schutzman, I am the host of Home In Russia and Russia Up Close. I am a Traditional Catholic attending the SSPX in Moscow Russia, I moved here 2 years ago with my wife and 6 children. We now will have our 8th (2nd Russian Child) this month.
It was myself and my team that filmed John Henry Westen while he was here. I have been spending much of my 2 years in Russia discussing with and explaining to the Russian Orthodox here about Our Lady of Fatima and also how Traditional Catholics are different than the mainstream. They took such great interest in these messages that they asked me when they had a trip scheduled for Orthodox Bloggers to Moldova and Russia, if there were any Traditional Catholic personalities would be interested in joining. I reached out to John Henry Westen, and despite many clamoring that he should not go, he decided to come and see Russia for himself.
This is the story about how that happened. I despise the assumption by this anti-Russian author that John Henry in any way, shape or form misrepresented anything. He came at my request as I told him this would also be a tremendous opportunity to meet with Pro-Life and Orthodox Leaders about the situation on the ground in Russia. While he was here they spoke at length about the despicable move by Brussels to continue to break Moldova and influence their elections by helping Romania encroach on their patriarchy and he said he was happy to consider an article. Charles Bausman DID write an article for Lifesite because that is how the inspiration for the trip was started BEFORE additional people were invited on this trip...I fail to see how his Pro-Russian stance affects anything. I am pro-Russian, I moved my whole family here from America.
