EU Parliament Debate- Religious Symbols in Public Places.
This is a debate that took place in December 2009 in the EU parliament. I posted the video before but I couldn't figure out how to get it in english, now I've fixed it by manually adding the subtitles myself from the translation on the EU parliament webpage.
The debate followed after an atheist launched a lawsuit at the European Court of Human Rights with regard to Italy's custom of having crucifixes in public school classrooms. The court ruled in her favour and asked Italy to remove the crosses.

EU Parliament Debate- Recognition of Same-sex married couples.
This debate took place September 7th 2010 in the European parliament. If you wish to see it in a different EU language you can go to the EU parliament webpage and find it.
The debate is about getting all the EU states to recognize marriages of gay people that occur in countries where gay marriage already exists (eg. Holland, Spain). The best counter-point in the debate, in my opinion, was by the polish delegate in reference to abortion. The people in favour of this motion argue that other EU member states should recognize the status of married gays because of freedom of movement, however, the same argument could then be made that would say that if an unborn child, who is recognized as a person in one country moved to another that the other state should also recognize the rights of this unborn child (ie. preventing them from being aborted) and thereby adhere to the right of freedom of movement for that child. The truth, however …More

Christmas Baptisms- Beijing.
This is a video I took of over 400 adults baptisms that happened last sunday (December 18, 2011) at the north church (北堂) in Beijing. This was a mass baptism, one of two in the year in Beijing (the other being at easter, which is more numerous), and this one included several parishes.
The man at the end is my friend Jia Jing-Hui, who is now a member of the catholic church. The older man standing next to him at the very end is his godfather, Mr. Li. Prayers are very welcome for him and other new catholics added to the body of Christ last sunday.

Easter Vigil-Beijing 2011
(I apologize for the poor camera skills in advance)
This is the Easter Vigil mass at the South Cathedral (nantang) in Beijing in 2011. This is the church that Matteo Ricci (1552-1610) founded when he came to Beijing during the late Ming dynasty. It is not the first Catholic church in China, but it is one of the oldest. Its modern appearance and size is not original to Matteo Ricci, but after reconstruction and expansion. This church was shut down during the cultural revolution and reopened for worship, I think maybe in 1981.
The parish is within the jurisdiction of the chinese catholic patriotic association, which is the state-run body that governs catholics in China. The bishop, Joseph Li Shan (visible in the video at one point flicking holy water on the crowd), received approval from Rome for his ordination in 2007, however, he has been threatened with excommunication under canon law in the past year as a result of his participation in bishops' ordinations …More

Mother Teresa at National Prayer Breakfast 1994
Every year in Washington DC there is an event called the national prayer breakfast, wherein a select group of VIPs gather together to discuss society, politics, economics and related issues within the context of encountering Jesus Christ. Every US President since Eisenhower has attened this event.
In 1994 Mother Teresa was invited to the breakfast as a guest speaker and she gave this speech to the VIPs. She issued a strong condemnation of abortion even though Bill Clinton and Al Gore were both sitting in the room (who reportedly didn't clap at the end of the speech).
