Irapuato, there was an American martial arts programme of the 70s where the monks had a final test before leaving the monastery (www.youtube.com/watch). The ultimate test for a Roman Candle is driving for one hour in the city of Rome. Should another car driver (aka chariot driver) sense a lapse of concentration or glimpse a lack of steely determination - you are certainly no citizen of Rome!

@RomanCandle: I love Roma!--no problem finding Churches, Priests and Nuns, Holy Masses, Confessions, Eucharistic adoration, Relics of Saints, Sacramentals--YES, I feel I am on the Via del Cielo. (Gee, almost like being in México--my favorite place on earth ...)

Greetings Flower of Irapuato - I have watched and enjoyed all of Father Reed's videos but particularly the tour around the Papal Apartments. The informal times of the Holy Father are far more informative than any formal presentation. When I hear the introductory music of “Viaggio a Roma”, I want get up and dance! Father Reed strikes the right note in a country where “bella figura” is the music of life. You have heard it said “When in Rome do as the Romans do” but us Christians must go one step further, “When in Rome be a Christian”.
