Christ Will Not Be Known Without His Cross.

All throughout His three years of public works/public ministry, His Majesty did not allow anyone publicly proclaim Him to be the Christ, the Messias. Everytime the demons tried to yell out who He was, His Majesty silenced them. Whenever His disciples discovered who He was, such as Caesarea Phillipi or on Mount Thabor, His Majesty would make them keep quiet until He had risen from the dead. Why did Our Blessed Lord not want to be known as the Christ? As the Messias? Palm Sunday tells us the answer. On this day, suddenly He allows the people to proclaim Him to be the Christ, the desired of the nation, the Son of David, proclaiming Him to be King.
