Double-Speech? Edward Pentin has criticized Cardinal Müller’s remarks that Amoris Laetitia poses no danger to the faith. According to Pentin, this contrast with revelations, affirmed by two senior Vatican officials to Pentin last week, that Müller’s Congregation lodged a large number of corrections of Amoris Laetitia before its publication, and – quote - “not one of the corrections was accepted.”

Irresponsible Silence: Pentin further writes that a significant number of episcopal conferences have expressed their concerns to the Pope regarding Amoris Laetitia, but received no response. Already before the document was published, 30 cardinals, having seen an advance draft, wrote to the Pope expressing their reservations, especially on the issue of communion for remarried divorcees. Francis never responded to that letter either.

Worldly: The second in command at the Vatican Secretary of State, Archbishop Angelo Becciu, presented yesterday a new edition of the Italian L’Osservatore Romano. He described new installment as openness to the world, care of the environment, the search for peace, dialogue with other religions and cultures, and to women. Becciu did not mention God, the Faith, the Church or eternity.

Free Speech: The New York Times criticized Betsy DeVos, Donald Trump’s pick for Secretary of Education, who said in 2001 that educational reform is a way to “advance God’s kingdom.” Catholic League’s Bill Donohue comments: “Terrifying. That should all but seal her fate. Had a nominee invoked Satan’s kingdom, it would be seen as free speech, if not applauded.”

@Holy Cannoli: Did you here what Pope Donald I said today in his morning homily: "Make the Catholic Church Great Again!". He added: "Drain the swamp". Amen.

Free Speech:
The New York Times has called on the Democratic party to not cooperate in the appointment of Donald Trump as President. It comes as no surprise that the Times is doing whatever they can to delegitimize his presidency by attacking his cabinet appointees. If Betsy DeVos were a lesbian Muslim with only one leg who supported the myth of man made global warming, the leftist godless heathens …More
