Secularized Cardinal During World Youth Day

During World Youth Day in Panama, high-ranking cardinals give the impression of a Church that has secularized itself. Cardinal Piero Parolin had, for instance, time to play with the watergates of the Panama Channel. As if he wanted to hide who he is, he showed up in very casual attire.

Too Much Politics

Pope Francis’ sermons during the World Youth Day could have been written by Nancy Pelosi, George Neumayr wrote on Spectator.org. Pelosi is the leftwing Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. While she claims to be an advocate for "the little man," she has a net worth of 120 Million Dollars and lives behind big walls. According to Neumayr, Francis' addresses to the young people mainly focused on leftwing politics.

Help Monsignor Antonio Livi – A Hero of the Catholic Faith

79-years-old Monsignor Antonio Livi, an eminent philosopher and intrepid fighter for the Catholic faith is very sick and, since he has no pension, is in grave financial difficulties, Marco Tosatti writes on his blog. In April 2018, Livi gave a long and courageous interview to Gloria.tv where he explained why the Bergoglio Church is going terribly wrong. You can find his banking details in the text below this video:

Rabbi – Not Bishops – Defends Catholic School Boys

The media attacks on the Catholic school boys who wore Make America Great Again caps during the Washington March for Life were motivated by Anti-Christianism, Rabbi Aryeh Spero, an acclaimed author and theologian, concluded. Spero said the entire event involving the boys was “a contrived and false episode” staged to make a scene and that it was “pounced on by people who hate religious white Catholics and are always on the look-out to demonize Catholics.” “These people are bigots,” Spero told the president of the Catholic League, William Donohue. “This is all part of the anti-Christianism by many segments in today’s leftist America and media collaborators,” Rabbi Spero said.

the Catholic school boys who wore Make America Great Again caps during the Washington March for Life were motivated by Anti-Christianism, Rabbi Aryeh Spero

I disagree, Rabbi. The reason for the confrontation were the MAGA hats.

Nathan Phillips in his 15 minutes of fame did not make a major statement that was not contradicted by an earlier statement or by the facts. He (falsely) claimed to be a Vietnam War veteran (he actually was assigned to repair refrigerators during his time in the military). Phillips was said to be a “peacemaker” and “musician” trying to calm tensions between the the Black Israelites (Read: Anti-white, racist, Neanderthal, spear chuckers) and the kids wearing MAGA hats. In tribal fashion, the injun' was soft spoken and spun yarns nonstop to the press and media (posing as reconciliatory and as an innocent bypasser who intervened for everyone’s safety.)

That’s all that was needed for the electronic mob to rush out in competition to lynch the Covington kids within seconds of the initial staged video posting that purportedly showed a supposedly solitary native American “swarmed” by a crowd of young smirking Brett Kavanaughs intent on bullying and blocking the “elder’s” passage. Progressives, NeverTrumpers, dim-witted celebrities, identity politics activists and associated social justice warriors all competed with each other to see who might be the first and the most venomous to indict, try, and metaphorically execute the white MAGA Trump lovers and privileged. The idea that an adolescent has a right to stand still when confronted by an agitator in his face, beating a drum is racist.

Everything Nathan Phillips alleged was untrue: he crossed the street to instigate the confrontation, not the boys. He got into the faces of the boys, not they into his. He banged his drum, not merely stared. His group yelled inflammatory taunts—and served as an intermission between the racist and homophobic slurs leveled at the kids from the loony Black Hebrew Israelites, who were not victims but racist provocateurs.

Phillips was also posed as a mere passerby, not in truth a professional protester, liar, and racist, who had a long history of race baiting at staged demonstrations to be given celebrity and notoriety. The next night he and his band of professional agitators tried to storm a Saturday evening Mass held at Washington, D.C.’s Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception—and half-succeeded in disrupting the service.

Had the students acted in the same fashion, but been black and female, attending a pro-abortion rally, wearing pink pussy hats, and staring down a white biker with a real Vietnam combat record who was humming country Western tunes on a bullhorn, then the same evidence would just as easily and equally have been discarded, and the students would have been celebrated for speaking truth to the power to a scary alt-Right racist professional provocateur.

Media truth is relative. Low truth is bound to bothersome facts that are deemed irrelevant. Higher truth is fact free and deals with cosmic justice: people of color confronting privileged whites.

The kids were white (enough said) and smiling (indicative of their smirking privilege and lack of victim status). They were mostly male (toxic masculinity, they were pro-life, and anti-abortion (insensitive to the reality that Planned Parenthood just announced record annual income of $1.67 billion and its highest annual profit in history of $244.8 million). And, most importantly, some of the kids (both boys and girls) were wearing red Trump MAGA hats. (Oh, the horror)

End of story?
---------------------------------------------
Not quite.

I will wear my red MAGA had this summer as I did many times during the summer of 2018. Although some looked, I had only 5 or 6 people during the entire summer who gave me a thumps up, one said “nice hat” and one person said “you’ve got courage to wear a hat like that.”

However, there was one exception. While I was waiting for my baked chicken to be prepared at a local supermarket, an older woman who was also waiting for chicken, noticed and commented on my MAGA hat. She said something like “I don’t like that guy” referring to the President. I enjoy (to a degree) meeting new people so we engaged in a little “dialogue” for several minutes. Our conversation rapidly descended into ‘forbidden territory’ with this aggressive battle-axe ultimately saying “You’re a muthr ‘effer.”

It’s been years, in fact I don’t even remember being called a “mut** eff**” before this day while waiting for my baked chicken at the market. Admittedly, I don’t have the temperament of the Covington student Nicholas Sandmann and although I don’t exactly remember how I responded to the old woman, I am pretty sure it wasn’t pleasant.

The girl, Marsha, who prepares the chicken smiled at what just happened in front of her. Marsha is also an avid Trump supporter and we have often talked about politics whenever I go to the market. For awhile afterwards Marsha and I would both laugh at what happened on that day and the old woman who called me a M****** F*****. Thankfully, I have never seen (bless her heart) that old woman again.
