Synod of Divisions”

The Pro-Bergoglian Roman newspaper Il Messaggero called the now ended Youth Synod a “Synod of Divisions”, writing that – quote – “The Pope closes the Synod of Divisions with a strong appeal for unity”.

Synod of Ignorants

Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput asked on Twitter the question how the Synod Fathers were able to vote on a final document containing many controversial points which they had no time to read and which was in a language, Italian, that many did not understand. The ultra-bergoglian journalist Robert Mickens called this “a true scandal”.

Synod of the Resting

Lyon auxiliary bishop Emmanuel Gobilliard interviewd people during the Youth Synod and put the recordings on a social network. At the end of the Synod he asked Archbishop David Macaire of Fort-de-France, Martinique, what he had to say about the Synod. Macaire’s answer, “I understood everything. What I understood is that this is a moment of rest for me. This is good.” He added that it is now up to the youth to evangelisize and that he had no interest – quote – “to find myself on Instragram or Snapshat”.

“With That Name, The Station Will Go Bankrupt”

Four years ago Omár Suárez, the leader of the Argentinean United Maritime Workers Union, told Pope Francis that the Union will start a radio station called “Papa Francisco”. Francis commented, “With that name, the station will go bankrupt.” And so it happened. The radio which at the end employed 16 people has just closed down. The director of the radio was Alicia Barrios who wrote the book “My friend, Father Jorge” about Francis. The radio’s downfall started in 2016 when Suárez was arrested for conspiracy and extorsion. His successor stated that the radio had little to do with the life of the Union and the maritime workers.

It’s obvious why this synod was convened with its purported emphasis on women and young people.

Various studies of religious affiliation in the United States show that young people are leaving the Catholic Church in greater numbers than before for many reasons. Women have traditionally been the bedrock of the faithful, but a study last year by the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) of Catholic women showed that they are less engaged than in the past.

But what about the elephant in Rome the room? What about rampant homosexual abuse and the cover up by complicit bishops?

According to the boys in red hats, you can blame ‘clericalism.” In the end, the bishops denounced abuses of all kinds but singled out “clericalism” as a chief culprit in the clergy scandals. Clericalism, the final document said, is a phenomenon born from “an elitist and exclusionary” view of the priesthood that allows clergy to exercise power over the vulnerable rather than serving them.

Clericalism but not homosexuality? Got that? However, what the Catholic Church refuses to do on its own, the State will do for them.
Wave of state attorneys general take on Catholic Church sex abuse

If you still think the 2018 Synod will lead to any meaningful purging of the Church, think again. New Jersey Cardinal Joseph “tweets” Tobin (“Nighty, Night baby, I love you,” Tobin wrote to someone whom he claimed later was one of his sisters; the sister has never published proof of receiving the tweet.) Regardless, “Tobin is under serious consideration,” to replace Cardinal Donald Wuerl and the D.C. chancery is “preparing for him. Under any other pontificate, Tobin would be the last cardinal tapped for Washington, given his scandalous ties to the pedo-rapist Theodore McCarrick. Tobin has acknowledged that he knew about McCarrick’s settlements in New Jersey with churchmen whom he tried to force into his bed. But Pope Francis is nothing if not reckless and indifferent to the flaws of flaky and depraved cardinals inside his inner circle.

All of this makes Tobin the ideal archbishop for Washington, D.C. in Bergoglio’s eyes, for whom “social justice,” meaning the socialism, amnesty, and extreme environmentalism of the global left, trumps all, even the obvious consideration that making a corrupt McCarrick crony head of the Church in the nation’s capital is sure to demoralize priests and inflame the lay faithful
