Beloved: The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia.

The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, commonly known as the Nashville Dominicans, continue to expand into new territory with a message of hope that the springtime of the New Evangelization is indeed in bloom. For almost 150 years, in the heart of the Bible Belt in Tennessee, the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia have embraced God's love in the living of their vows and apostolic vocation in the field of education. Now, with a median age of 36, the 235 Dominican Sisters of this congregation bring generations of young people the message of Christ in over 30 schools, throughout the United States and Australia.

Like the virgin martyr Cecilia, Nashville Dominicans promise their hearts to Christ. The Lords voice fills their ears and secures their promise to be Christs alone. Nashville Dominicans show the world a love that is different and unique. It is a love that is eternal. Nashville Dominicans are indeed beloved by God, as you will witness in this documentary. You will be taken inside a religious congregation that continues to offer the world and the Church a compelling model of religious life that is beautiful, hopeful, joyful and alive.

Greetings with God's Blessings!
My name is Jacqueline Dinter, a lay person from a small town in Alberta, Canada. I am writing to you, on behalf of our pilgrim group (total of 9 persons: 1 couple with their 15 yr old son; 1 couple with their mature & well behaved 9 yr old daughter; 1 mother with her 13yr9month old son; and myself, 52 yr old lady).

With much prayer and discernment, we believe our Gracious God is calling us to participate in the Mission Week plus WYD Rio de Janeiro events, this July of 2013. We continue to pray and seek the Holy Spirit's Direction for every detail of preparation of the pilgrimage journey, so that only God's Divine Will is done.

Having said that, we have thus far received word from Padre Marcus Vinicus Brito de Macedo, in the diocese of Nova Friburgo, confirming to provide hospitality for our pilgrim group for the duration of the days in Mission Week.

Our pilgrim group has also registered and paid in full the registration fees, for the WYD 2013 week, to be held in Rio de Janeiro. However, we have not yet received any further word to confirm where our lodgings are to be for that week. In light of this situation, we thought it best to try and seek out a Catholic Religious Order that might be willing to take in our pilgrim group for a few days during the WYD week. We would be happy to pay for our lodgings, and offer help in whichever way possible.

Hence, why i am now writing to you. Wondering if your order would be willing to take in our pilgrim group, that we might have a little space to lay our heads down at night? Also are you located very far from the scheduled WYD events?

If not, would you happen to know of other Catholic Religious Orders, Monasteries, Seminaries or something like - that might be willing to offer a few days lodgings for our pilgrim group? If so, would you mind very much to send information that would help me to contact them? Any help at all, we are very thankful to God.

It is in the spirit of JOY that i pray for all Priests, Sisters, Consecrated Religious, those in Seminaries, everyday, ... a prayer of thanksgiving, including purification and protection for all. May the Beautiful Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to fill you with HIS Love, Peace & Joy; May the Holy Spirit continue to keep the Fire of His Love Alive in your hearts; May the Almighty EverLoving Father continue to pour forth HIS Abundant Grace and Holy Presence; through the Beautiful Sorrowful & Immaculate Heart of Mary; ALL for HIS GREAT GLORY!!!
I look forward to receiving a reply from you.
Respectfully,
Jacqueline Dinter
