Vatican Chaos Continues: According to Edward Pentin the partial disempowerment of Cardinal Pell, the Vatican’s Secretary of the Economy, shows a lack of communication and dialogue in the Vatican. Pell is confronted with obstruction especially from the Secretary of State and the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See. Pentin quotes a source: “They have not cooperated, which you don’t do if you don’t have something to hide.”

Abortion: Cardinal Raymond Burke says in a new book-length interview that when his mother was pregnant with him, she became seriously ill and a doctor advised her to have an abortion. According to the Cardinal, the doctor said: “You already have five children, it is important for you to be in good health so as to take care of them”. The parents obviously refused.

Minority: A French opinion survey talking to young people between 18 and 30 years shows that only a minority of them – 46% - believes in God. The Moslem in France are much more religious than the Catholics.

Outrage: Alexander Boroda, the president of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia is outraged with the homosex march in Jerusalem held last Thursday. Quote: "Manifestations of such exhibitionism are unacceptable.” He reminded that Judaism categorically prohibits homosexuality and has "a very negative attitude toward homosexual relations."

@Fischl: O.k. "Islam is simulating a religious-like behaviour". What are the Catholics doing?

How many, "Cardinal Burkes" have been aborted? How many have been, "nearly" aborted? Just imagine how much more frequently this "advice" is given by doctors since abortion has been legalized. And again, how much more after the Democrats succeed in overturning the Hyde Amendment so that the federal gov't will start paying for them?

Vatican Chaos Continues: The thing about the Vatican Bank that makes it different is that it's essentially an offshore bank in the middle of a foreign country. Somebody sitting over in Italy who had a lot of money, all they had to do was find a priest or cleric inside Vatican city to take their money in suitcases of cash across the street, walk it over on a cart, deposit it in the Vatican Bank, and it no longer could be taxed. It no longer could be followed by Italian authorities and it couldn't be followed for a drug investigation.
So what's the result? It results in the Vatican Bank being one of the top banks in the world for money laundering.

In what appears to be the continuation of a cover-up, they fire Pell. Could it be he was getting too close to exposing the corruption which would embarrass certain high ranking people in the Catholic Church? The Vatican said in its June 10 statement that the financial scrutiny would now be executed by the Vatican’s own auditor general, and that the accountancy giant PricewaterhouseCoopers would henceforth “play an assisting role” and be “available to those dicasteries that wish to avail themselves of its support and consulting services.”
.
Clericalism, obfuscation, ending with “we will audit ourselves” are not the marks of transparency or of a serious attempt to rectify this "dirty money'' business. Indeed, it's exactly the opposite.

That depends. The traditional view among Jews is to regard same-sex relationships as categorically forbidden by the Torah. This remains the current view of Orthodox Judaism, but not of Reconstructionist Judaism, Reform Judaism and Conservative Judaism, which started changing its position to same-sex unions in 2006.

It is very important to clearly distinquish between " being "religious" and "believing in God". The Islam is simulating a religious-like behaviour as camouflage for its brutal pursuing the material conquest of the whole world – convincing its subjects, that this were the very command of their loveless "God". The ideology is cleverly constructed: nobody can leave their community alive. All "non believers" must surrender in slavery, convert or otherwise have to die. Brave "martyrs" are granted direct access to a lascivious kind of heaven (thus not worth its name). Its ultimate goal is wordly power by relentless exploitation. Through our own western law granting " religious freedom" to anybody we have surrendered to an enterprise which does not even deserve to be called a "religion" in the true sense. Read Norbert G: Preßburg's "Good Bye Mohammed" and your eyes will be opened.

Burke is a wonderful cardinal. Even when he disagrees with things at the Vatican, he still nevertheless treats the Pope with the utmost respect and obedience. He is an example for Catholics to follow.
