In this first interview produced for the Diocese of Fresno and recorded in St. Anne's Chapel, Bishop Joseph V. Brennan shares with Jim Grant highlights of his first two months as the sixth Bishop of the Diocese of Fresno. He begins with gratitude for all that he has experienced in his new "Valley", beginning with the Canonical Possession of the Diocese and Reception in the Cathedral Church of St. John, and then the Mass of Installation at St. Anthony of Padua Church, both in Fresno. Throughout the 45 minutes he reflects on what he saw and enjoyed so much during his 6,000 miles of travel throughout the diocese. Confirmations, migrant ministry, interfaith collaboration, legislative advocacy, renewed use of the Mobile Mas Trailer and Truck, a possible pastoral letter, the June Meeting of the USCCB, outreach to our diocesan clergy, parish life coordinators, the diocesan center staff and so much more are not only mentioned but illustrated with footage provided by KNXT and the Communications Dept.
