A Woman with a Vision that´s working strong.
Marcy Erickson from the US had a dream. She was 24 and wanted to go to Africa and adopt 20 children. She kept repeating it over and over until she finaly was in Ethiopia, armed with a camera and a suitcase in her hand. She nearly died of Malaria in her hotel room but someone found her and she recuperated.
Not thinking about giving up she went to the governeur and asked for land to build the dream: Grace for Children. Very soon she already had one ...two ....three adopted children and now married three of her own and four adopted and ....hundreds of children being helped from very poor conditions.
It was only a dream, no money involved, no means at all, only hope and love the caused this great center for children and mothers to grow. Everything she does is a factual miracle of God. Her name given to her by the population was in the first year already: Mama Mehereth: Amhar for Mother of Mercy
