Not Unhappy: In an interview with Gloria.tv, the superior general of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X stated that he is – quote – “not unhappy” – about the exit of Great Britain from the European Union. Fellay considers his own country, Switzerland, which is not part of the EU on the right track. He concedes that the European Union could have been something beautiful, but currently it rather looks like a dictatorship.

Reform: In his talk for the Sacra Liturgia Conference in London Cardinal Sarah, the prefect of the Congregation for Liturgy said that the faithful today are not so faithful. I noticed that despite all efforts to make the Mass more interesting, the pews are empty. To long and extended applause Sarah asked that worship ad orientem be re established starting this Advent.

Bishop Rey said that he would lead by example in his diocese, starting this Advent, to say Mass ad orientem. He announced that he would explain why he would worship this way and encourage his priests to do the same.

Scripture condemns homosexuality (effeminacy), the homosexual act, and the homosexual union because no one is born gay. Jesus never ordered the adulterous woman to return to her sinful relationship and live in chastity. The only exception that the Church uses is when there are children involved and for the sake of the children, but this does not apply for any type of gay union. If they live together they will continue reinforcing the false gay identity.
2. He recommends chastity to gay couples instead of what they have to do which is break their sinful unions because they are not sacramental.

We should send them a letter telling them merely to abstain from anything polluted by idols, from illicit marriages, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood.

@Abramo, I'm with you on Chaput for Pope! 
It seems the mayor of Philadelphia would not be in agreement. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this were the kind of conflict Pope Francis would bring to the Church? Instead, I will thank Archbishop Chaput and Bishop Kenney. "Let's have it out!"

When two persons of the same sex present themselves openly in a parish as a same-sex couple including those who may have entered into a same-sex union under civil law), pastors must judge prudently how best to address the situation,both for the sake of the authentic spiritual good of the persons involved, and the common good of the believing community. It’s important to remember that some same-sex couples do live together in chaste friendship and without sexual intimacy, and many pastors have had the experience
of counseling such couples.

The Church welcomes all men and women who honestly seek to encounter the Lord, whatever their circumstances. But two persons in an active, public same-sex relationship, no matter how sincere, offer a serious counter-witness to Catholic belief, which can only produce moral confusion in the community. Such a relationship cannot be accepted into the life of the parish without undermining the faith of the community, most notably the children.

Finally, those living openly same-sex lifestyles should not hold positions of responsibility in a parish, nor should they carry out any liturgical ministry or function.
